Where should we stay?

Answer

We are currently looking at options for wedding blocks in the area. We plan to have something on the books by the end of January, so stay tuned! There are a lot of great inns, hotels, and AirBnBs in the area as well. If you have any questions about specific areas to stay instead of our chosen block, feel free to reach out.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at The Magnolia Room located within Ponce de León’s Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park in St. Augustine, Florida. Address: 11 Magnolia Avenue St. Augustine, FL 32084 On the day of the wedding, we will have a greeter near the ticket office that will direct you to our ceremony space.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary on-site parking is available inside the Fountain of Youth grounds for wedding guests. Please be mindful that vehicles cannot be left overnight. We would also like to let you know that there are around 200 peacocks on the grounds. They can be very territorial, and have been known to damage cars in the parking lot in the past due to seeing their reflection in vehicles.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will be held indoors in the Magnolia Room. We recommend comfortable shoes—there may be grass, brick paths, or uneven walkways within the park.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is garden cocktail. Think polished but comfortable, elevated garden party—this is a historic, garden-style venue in Florida. January in St. Augustine is usually mild and comfortable, with daytime temperatures typically in the 60s and cooler evenings in the 40s–50s. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening—especially since parts of our celebration will be outdoors.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a backup indoor plan to ensure the celebration continues seamlessly. Rain or shine, we’ll still be celebrating!

Can I explore the Fountain of Youth?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to explore the park and drink from the Fountain of Youth during our cocktail hour(Eternal youth? You're welcome.) Please be respectful of restricted areas, historic artifacts, and archaeological digs.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Answer

Smoking and vaping are welcome outside only—please no smoking or vaping inside the Magnolia Room, and be sure to dispose of all cigarette butts properly. Marijuana and other substance use is not permitted anywhere on the property, and the venue enforces a $1,000 fine for violations.
