We first met at Tyler’s cousin Dillon’s Labor Day party. We didn’t talk much at first—just the occasional comment in group conversations—but somehow, we both ended up staying late to play board games with his friends and my sister. Looking back, it feels like that was the start of everything. Later that week, we started texting… then hanging out… and before long, we didn’t want a day to go by without seeing each other. Our first unofficial date was extra special—bundled up with my nieces at the Christmas lights at the Akron Zoo. It was simple, sweet, and completely us. After that, we spent nearly every day together after work. Just a few short months later, I moved in with my dog, Lennon, and our little family of three began. Not long after, we added another furry friend, Baker, making our home even fuller and louder in the best way. Three years into our love story, we welcomed our sweetest, most handsome little man, Ryker. Becoming parents together has been our greatest adventure yet. Now, here we are in our engaged era—excited to say “I do,” continue building our life together, and grow our family even more.
