Hotel Privilege Aluxes Isla Mujeres

Privilege Aluxes is a private adults only resort set on Playa Norte along the Caribbean Sea. This beautiful hotel will be the preferred resort for the Westfall wedding, and where the bride and groom will be staying for the week. There are other resorts available on the island if you wish to stay at a different hotel. We do advise that if you are not a guest at Privilege Aluxes you will not be allowed on property. We kindly ask if our wedding party can stay at this resort due to having the wedding rehearsal onsite. Please book your rooms as soon as possible due to November being during their peak season. We suggest reviewing websites like TripAdvisor and Expedia to shop the best deals. Both websites will allow you to pay at the property upon arrival. All inclusive options are available for approximately $40 additional per day. WELL WORTH IT... we promise. :)

Shuttle

CARM Shuttle

CARM shuttle will be our preferred airport shuttle company. They will take you from Cancun Airport to Port Puerto Juarez where you will catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Please see link below to book for the Westfall wedding. Directions from the Airport: Once you have received your bags from baggage claim exit the airport and don't engage with any of the vendors. You will cross the street once you have exited where CARM will be waiting holding a sign with your name. Booking: When booking with CARM they will provide a roundtrip airport shuttle and 2 ferry tickets. You'll receive both ferry tickets upon arrival. The tickets are one way to Isla Mujeres and back to Cancun. Also, you may book shared rides with other wedding guests if you're arriving at the same time. American Airlines

Guests must fly into Cancun in order to get to Isla Mujeres. American Airlines provides the most options for direct flights. Please note they will add more week day direct flights approximately 7-8 months prior to your departure date.

Helpful Travel Tips!

1.) Don't forget your passport! 2.) We encourage you to exchange U.S dollars for pesos as your dollar will go further. Exchange rates vary. Please note all places will take U.S. dollar, but not all will take credit cards. Exchange rate is approximately $19 pesos to $1 US dollar. 3.) Complete the Immigration Entry Form upon arriving to Cancun. You will receive the form during your flight, or you can fill it out pre-flight at https://www.cancunairport.com/immigration.html 4.) After you pick up your luggage upon arrival you will have one last livestock/agriculture form to complete once you have exited customs. These forms are located on a table near baggage claim. 5.) Once you arrive to Isla Mujeres from the ferry exit the port and make a left onto the street. The taxi line will be 50 feet to your left. It will cost approximately $5-$7 U.S dollar to your hotel. Trust us you will want to take a taxi. Travelers will need to complete a COVID-19 form upon entry.

Golf Carts!

The easiest way to get around the island is by golf cart. There are several places that you can rent from that will cost approximately $60-$70 per day. They will require you to leave a driver license for the deposit. Helpful hint... bring an old license if you still have one lying around. :) Some rental companies allow you to book in advanced if you prefer.
