For more hotel options, we recommend the Hennan Group of Hotels in Boracay, especially this location in Station 1, as it is closer to Shangri-La. The Hennan properties in Station 2 are also a great choice, as they are in the heart of the action. Hennan hotels offer exclusive airport pickup, ferry service, and excellent facilities, making them a convenient and comfortable option for your stay.

Travel Tips

1. Boracay is accessible via two main airports: Caticlan Airport (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport) and Kalibo International Airport. Caticlan is closer to Boracay and more convenient, but Kalibo often has more international connections and budget-friendly options. 2. Caticlan vs. Kalibo: If possible, choose flights to Caticlan as it’s only a 15-minute ferry ride to Boracay. Kalibo is about 2 hours away by road and ferry. 3. Baggage Restrictions: Flights to Caticlan may have stricter baggage limits due to smaller aircraft. Be sure to check with airlines. 4. Connection Times: Ensure at least 3–4 hours for layovers in Manila for international to domestic transfers, as it can be time-consuming.

From the United States:

• Recommended Route: U.S. → Manila (MNL) → Caticlan (MPH) or Kalibo (KLO). • Manila is the most direct layover option. Alternatives: Hong Kong (HKG), Seoul (ICN), or Singapore (SIN) offer convenient connections to Caticlan or Kalibo. • Airlines: Philippine Airlines (direct from Los Angeles or San Francisco), Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines.

From Europe:

• Recommended Route: Europe → Manila (MNL) → Caticlan (MPH) or Kalibo (KLO). • Major Layover Hubs: Dubai (DXB), Doha (DOH), or Istanbul (IST) are excellent options with frequent flights to Manila. For other Asian connections, consider Singapore (SIN) or Hong Kong (HKG). • Airlines: Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines.

• Recommended Route: Africa → Middle East Hub → Manila (MNL) → Caticlan (MPH) or Kalibo (KLO). • Major Layover Hubs: Dubai (DXB) and Doha (DOH) are the most common and convenient layover options. Some routes may connect via Nairobi (NBO) or Addis Ababa (ADD) before continuing to the Middle East or Asia. • Airlines: Emirates, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, or Turkish Airlines (if connecting through Istanbul).
