The Wedding Website of Katrina Angela Jean McLaughlin and Tyler Joseph Goldman
We’re so excited to share some of our favorite places in Ireland with you! From the Cliffs of Moher to the lively streets of Dublin, the Emerald Isle has so much to discover. This list includes spots we’ve personally experienced and loved — but don’t stop here! There’s so much more to explore beyond our recommendations.
Guinness Storehouse

Guinness StorehouseGuinness Storehouse

The Liberties, D D08 VF8H, Ireland

The Disneyland of museums, some might say! 🍀 The Guinness Storehouse offers a fascinating look at how Guinness got its start and has maintained its reign as the world’s #1 porter. The experience takes about two hours and includes a tasting class — plus a perfectly poured pint at the end! And may we recommend splurging on the Pour Your Own Pint experience? We had so much fun being our own bartenders.

The Irish Emigration Museum

The Irish Emigration MuseumThe Irish Emigration Museum

Custom House Quay, North Wall, D, Ireland

This interactive museum takes you on a journey through Ireland’s rich immigration history — the good, the bad, and everything in between. The experience is designed like a “passport” through the Irish emigration story. It takes about 1–2 hours to explore and offers a thorough look at how Irish culture spread around the world. Quick, interesting, and surprisingly moving — we loved it!

Golfing at The K Club

The K Club boasts two world-class, 5-star golf courses designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. Considered some of the finest parkland courses in Europe, The K Club has hosted prestigious tournaments including the 2006 Ryder Cup and multiple Irish Opens — making it a true bucket-list destination for any golf lover. If you’re a fan of the game, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss. ⛳ Bonus: hotel guests receive a special discount on green fees.

Gallaghers Boxty House

Temple Bar, D D02 ET66, Ireland

If you’re in the mood for a corned beef sandwich, look no further than Gallagher’s Boxty House in Temple Bar. Their corned beef boxty sandwich is a must-try — tender corned beef, warm and hearty potato boxty bread, and all the classic fixings. This was one of Tyler's favorite meals in Ireland!

Jameson Distillery Bow St.

Bow Street, Smithfield, D D07 N9VH, Ireland

Whiskey lovers, this one’s for you 🥃 The Jameson Distillery has a fun and interactive tour that walks you through the history and craft behind the whiskey. You’ll learn how Jameson is made, enjoy a guided tasting, and even have the chance to mix your own cocktail.

Temple Bar

Temple BarTemple Bar

Dublin, D, Ireland

Some people call Temple Bar “touristy” like it’s a bad thing — but honestly, we love it! 🎶 Live music spills out of nearly every doorway, people are laughing and singing in the streets, having a craic, and there’s an energy here that’s hard to beat. Despite the name, Temple Bar isn’t just one bar (though there is a famous pub by that name) — it’s the entire party district of Dublin. Some spots are packed, some are quieter. And the best bar in Temple Bar? It’s the one where you’re having a great time. 🍻

Dublin Bus

Dublin BusDublin Bus

Public transit in Ireland is truly unbeatable. The green and yellow double-decker buses are clean, convenient, and even have phone chargers on board. Most locals rely on them daily, and we quickly learned why — they’re one of our favorite ways to get around! 🚌 Just a quick tip: you’ll need exact change or a Leap Card to ride. Leap Cards can be easily picked up at local convenience stores like Spar.

Cliffs of Moher

Cliffs of MoherCliffs of Moher

CE, Ireland

The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most breathtaking natural landmarks — and absolutely worth the trip. 🌊✨ It’s about a 3-hour drive from Dublin, making it a perfect road trip or an easy group tour destination. Ireland has some great group tour options! The cliffs are also close to charming towns like Galway and Limerick, making it easy to pair the two into a fun day or overnight adventure. (I recommend Galway unless you really want to see Limerick!)

Galway

GalwayGalway

Galway, G, Ireland

I can’t decide whether I love Galway or Dublin more — but Galway might just steal your heart. If you can only visit Dublin and one other Irish city on your travels, I say Galway all day! Known as the cultural capital of Ireland, Galway is vibrant, lively, and full of incredible craic (that’s Irish for good fun 😉). Live music pours out of nearly every pub, the food scene is fantastic, and there are beautiful castle ruins just a short drive away. It’s the perfect place to soak in the true spirit of Ireland. 🎶✨
