We met like most people are nowadays, online! It almost did not happen as Katie waited two weeks to reply back to Tyler, but thankfully Tyler is patient! We had our first date at the apartment in New Concord since Katie was on call and could not go far.

We were on vacation with Katie's family in Holden Beach. Katie has been not so patient about getting engaged at this point, but Tyler figured it was finally time to pull the trigger and propose. With the blessing of Katie's family and the family heirloom for an engagement ring, it was time to propose! We were taking family photos that night and chose to propose while we were taking pictures. Tyler was trying to find the right moment, but finally found it during the photos of just us. Tyler got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him. It was the most perfect night!
