For garden cocktail attire, envision elegant yet relaxed attire with a touch of botanical charm. May we suggest that men wear a long or short-sleeved shirt with slacks or shorts. Ladies, feel free to dazzle in sundresses, flowy skirts, or stylish jumpsuits paired with sandals or wedges. Embrace the beauty of the outdoors with soft fabrics and spring-inspired colors.
We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only occasion. While we adore the little ones in our lives, we've chosen to create an evening filled with moments meant for grown-up enjoyment. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you
We are truly honored to have you share in our special day. Your presence is the greatest gift of all, and we humbly ask for no other. We are not registered anywhere for our wedding. Your love and support mean everything to us. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

In January, Puerto Vallarta typically experiences warm and sunny weather. Expect average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit. Days are generally sunny with minimal rainfall, offering perfect conditions for outdoor ceremonies and activities. However, evenings may be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for any evening festivities.
Absolutely, Puerto Vallarta is a wonderful destination that prioritizes the safety and well-being of its visitors. Like any popular tourist destination, it's essential to exercise common sense and take precautions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The main tourist areas, such as the hotel zone, downtown, and the Romantic Zone (Zona Romántica), are generally safe for visitors. Puerto Vallarta boasts a strong police presence and is committed to maintaining a safe environment for tourists. However, as with any travel destination, it's advisable to stay informed about your surroundings, avoid isolated areas at night, and safeguard your belongings. We've personally chosen Puerto Vallarta as our wedding destination because of its beauty, charm, and reputation for hospitality. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and secure during their stay. If you have any specific concerns or questions about safety, please don't hesitate to reach out to us or consult reliable travel resources. We look forward to celebrating our special day with you in this incredible destination!
Yes! Puerto Vallarta is a vibrant destination with something for everyone to enjoy. From pristine beaches and lush jungles to charming cobblestone streets and bustling markets, there's no shortage of things to see and do. Here are just a few highlights: Beach Activities: Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta. Whether you prefer lounging with a good book or trying out water sports like snorkeling, paddleboarding, or parasailing, the options are endless. Malecón Boardwalk: Take a leisurely stroll along the iconic Malecón boardwalk, where you'll find an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, art galleries, and street performers. This was our favorite part of our first trip down! Old Town (Zona Romántica): Explore the charming streets of Puerto Vallarta's Old Town, also known as Zona Romántica. Discover quaint boutiques, art galleries, and cafes tucked away in colorful colonial buildings. Outdoor Adventures: Embark on thrilling outdoor adventures such as zip-lining through the jungle, ATV tours, or horseback riding to secluded waterfalls. The surrounding Sierra Madre Mountains offer endless opportunities for exploration and adventure.
For your convenience, both Mexican pesos (MXN) and US dollars (USD) are widely accepted in Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, many establishments accept major credit cards (be sure to check for foreign transaction fees). We recommend bringing a combination of pesos and USD for your stay. ATMs are readily available in Puerto Vallarta, allowing you to withdraw pesos as needed. Additionally, currency exchange services are available at the airport and throughout the city. Ultimately, the choice of currency is up to you, but having some pesos on hand can be beneficial for exploring local markets, tipping, and enjoying authentic experiences.
Feel free to arrive early and make the most of your time in Puerto Vallarta! We will be arriving on Wednesday, Jan 22nd and departing the following Tuesday. While we would love to spend as much time with you as possible, we understand that everyone's schedule and preferences vary. Whether you choose to join us for pre-wedding adventures, explore the city on your own, or simply relax and unwind before the big day, the choice is entirely yours. We're thrilled to have you celebrate with us, however long or short your stay may be.
Getting around Puerto Vallarta is relatively easy, thanks to various transportation options available: Uber: Uber operates in Puerto Vallarta, providing a convenient and often more affordable option for getting around the city. Keep in mind that Uber drivers are not allowed to pick up passengers directly from the airport, but they can drop off passengers there. If you wish to take an Uber from the airport, you must walk across the pedestrian bridge to meet your Uber. Taxi: Taxis are readily available throughout the city and are a convenient way to travel short distances or to destinations not served by public transportation. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey, as taxis in Puerto Vallarta typically do not use meters. Walking: Puerto Vallarta's downtown area is relatively compact and pedestrian-friendly, making walking a convenient option for exploring the city center and nearby attractions. Rental Car: If you prefer more independence and flexibility in your travels, you can rent a car from one of the many rental agencies in Puerto Vallarta. However, be aware that traffic and parking can be challenging, especially in the downtown area. Public Bus: Puerto Vallarta has an extensive public bus system that connects different areas of the city and nearby towns. The buses are inexpensive and a great option for budget-conscious travelers. Look for buses marked "Centro" for routes that pass through downtown. Whichever mode of transportation you choose, getting around Puerto Vallarta is generally safe and efficient, allowing you to enjoy all that this beautiful destination has to offer.
