Question

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

We'd love to have you celebrate with us! Unfortunately, our RSVP deadline has passed, and we've already submitted final headcounts to our venue. While we completely understand that life happens, we're unable to accommodate late RSVPs at this time. We truly hope you'll think of us on our special day.

Where are the Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held on-site at The Starting Gate at GreatHorse in Hampden, Massachusetts. The address for our venue is: 128 Wilbraham Rd, Hampden, MA 01036.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside in the wedding garden (weather permitted). Following our ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour where you can enjoy a few light bites in addition to cocktails from their incredible, air-conditioned four-season deck with breathtaking views. Lastly, dinner, drinks and dancing will follow our cocktail hour. The reception will be held inside the Starting Gate in their beautiful ballroom. We are looking forward to celebrating with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive by 4:45 PM to allow time for parking and finding your seat. We’ll be finishing up photos at 4:30 PM, so please do not arrive before 4:40 PM. If you arrive at or after 5:00 PM, you’ll sadly miss the ceremony — and we truly want you there for that moment.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length dress or elegant cocktail dress. Please refrain from wearing jeans and/or khakis. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Yes! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes - complimentary valet parking is available for the duration of the ceremony and reception! Please keep in mind that Uber/Lyft are very limited around the venue in Hampden, MA, so plan accordingly if you’re considering using a rideshare service.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we kindly ask that only guests who have received a plus one on their formal invitation bring an additional guest. If a plus one has been extended to you, it will be noted on the formal invitation that you will receive at a later date. We appreciate your understanding as we plan for an intimate and meaningful celebration!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we truly adore your little ones, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to a small number of children. If your children are included in the celebration, their names will appear on the formal invitation, which will be sent out at a later date. We sincerely appreciate your understanding as we plan for an intimate and joyful gathering!
