WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Answer
This is an OUTDOOR event. The dress is Garden Attire: cocktail dresses, sundresses, floral prints, suits/dress pants/dress shorts in lighter hues. Ladies may prefer to skip the heels, and wear something that will be more comfortable on soft ground - we recommend watching the weather to best determine if it has rained recently. Or it may be hot and sunny! Also, we will send updates on the status of the island as we get closer. Also note that everyone will have to make a 5 minute boat ride to and from the docks to Crystal Beach Island. Between the natural lake breezes and wind from the moving boat, you may want layers - especially for the later evening taxi back to the parking lot as night rolls in.

WHAT'S THE ALCOHOL SITUATION?

Open bar! It IS a lake town! But please be responsible. We will have bartenders there, helping to monitor people. We are providing a shuttle at the end of the night for anyone needing a ride back to Columbus - but due to the long drive time, there will only be ONE shuttle, so be sure to let us know if you're reserving a seat on the shuttle through the RSVP page, and keep track of the time! We will update the shuttle info with departure times as we get closer.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Due to the limited space on the island we are asking that guests refrain from bringing children. We hope that you understand our decision, and are still able to join us on our special day!

I'M CONFUSED - WHERE IS THIS PLACE??
Answer
We get it - we're bombarding you with locations and options. But once it comes to the actual event, there are two main places. You will have to find a way to get to MOUNDWOOD SHELTERS which is in the Indian Lake/Russells Point area. It is accessible by car, and you may park there at no cost. (See "Lodging & Transport" for those options) From there, we will have a boat taxi pick you up, and ferry you about 5 minutes to CRYSTAL BEACH ISLAND. The boat taxi will be available throughout the event to return you to Fox Island Playground if you plan to drive yourself and leave before the evening shuttle.
