FAQs

Question

Civil Ceremony vs. Formal Wedding?

Answer

This July’s celebration will be our civil ceremony and primary family gathering, allowing our grandparents and extended family to be part of this special moment with us here in El Paso. Next year, we will be hosting a much smaller destination wedding in Kauai with very limited capacity, reserved for immediate family and close friends only. Thank you for being part of this special chapter and celebrating with us close to home.

Question

Attire?

Answer

Please note the attire is summer cocktail or dressy casual given the El Paso summer heat. Lighter and flowy layers are recommended. This civil ceremony will be in a backyard with no need to dress formal.

Question

Registry?

Answer

Tyler and I are opting out of traditional gifts, as we’re fortunate to already have many household essentials between the two of us. Instead, if you wish to celebrate with a gift, contributions toward our honeymoon fund or our newlywed adventures as we begin our next chapter together in Tucson in August 2026 would mean so much to us. If you would like to contribute, please visit the Registry page, which will direct you to our contribution link. Please know that we do not expect any contributions at all, and there is absolutely no pressure to give — whether you are celebrating with us at one event or both. Your presence, love, and support are truly the greatest gift, and we are simply grateful to share these special moments with the people we love most.”
