EU Digital Passenger Locator Form

This is the digital passenger locator form that is required for entrance into Italy. ALL passengers need to fill this form out prior to boarding your flight and landing in Italy. Passports

Please make sure that your passports do not expire until May 2022 or after. The European Union/Schengen Area as a whole does not allow Americans entry unless they have 6 months of validity beyond their intended date of travel.

We have booked a villa 25 miles north of Rome city center from Monday, October 18, 2021 through Monday, October 25, 2021 that will host both the ceremony and reception and also has enough room for everyone to stay. As a big thank you to everyone who attends, we are covering the price of the lodging. *The villa has a washer and dryer as well in case anyone is trying to conserve luggage space!*

Weather

The average weather in October in Rome is usually between 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors so be sure to keep this in mind, a light sweater/throw might come in handy! Dinner, drinks and dancing should help warm any chilly guests up throughout the night.

Transportation

We plan on providing transportation for everyone to and from the airport and the villa once all confirmed guests have booked their flights. There will be a link on this website to RSVP once we send invites out that will ask your flight information (airline, flight number, arrival, and departure) so we can coordinate rides. More info to come!

Phone & Credit Card

Please be sure to inform your cell phone provider that you will be travelling to Italy to avoid any surprise charges. Usually they can provide you with an international day pass option (AT&T's is $10/day for unlimited calls, texts, and data - this is what I use.) Please also inform your credit card company and/or exchange your USD to Euros at a bank PRIOR to departing the US. Airport currency exchanges usually have significantly worse rates than banks. If your credit card comes with no foreign transaction fees, that'll be a HUGE plus! You'll be able to use your card like normal without having the card company charge you a fee or percentage for foreign purchases.

COVID Test to Re-enter USA

As of 7/2/2021, negative COVID tests (PCR or antigen are both okay per US State Dept website linked below) are still required 3 days (72 hours) prior to arrival back into the US. I will update this if/when anything changes but we have some options: - I am working with our travel planner to arrange testing at our villa on Saturday morning. - At FCO in Terminal 3 Arrivals, from midnight to 4pm every day, rapid and molecular swab tests are available for all arriving or departing passengers. 20 euros ($24) for antigen test and results available within 30 minutes. 69 euros ($84) for molecular tests and swab results can be picked up in person within 36 hours. You are able to pay at the airport by credit card. For those interested in this service, you will need to pre-register online at: www.adr.it/digital-health-pass.
