What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the reception start time. This will allow for ease of parking and seating to ensure you don't miss a thing.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony is planned to be outdoors to showcase the stunning landscape and fall foliage The Harper has to offer. The venue has an indoor/outdoor bar to be utilized for cocktail hour, and the dinner and reception will be held inside. If necessary, we may need to move the ceremony inside, but we are crossing our fingers this won't happen!

What should I wear?

Answer

This event is semi-formal or cocktail attire appropriate . For the women, cocktail or full length dresses in fall colors will look absolutely beautiful. For the men, crisp dress shirts and suits or sport coats of muted or rich tones will fit the feel of the event perfectly.

Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, take our wedding as an excuse for a date night. We will not be having any kids at our wedding so please plan accordingly.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We are striving to keep our guest count as intimate as possible and to celebrate with those we hold closest to our hearts. Unless indicated on your invite, plus ones are not granted to every guest.

Do I have to travel throughout the day?

Answer

No! We wanted a relaxed feel to the day. All events are taking place at the Harper from the ceremony to the reception. They have plenty of parking available on the property as well.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep all phones and cameras away during the ceremony. The bride and groom have hired an incredible photographer and ensure you that you will receive access to these beautiful pictures once her work is done. Please don't make her job harder having to crop out cellphones!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar. The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you, so please drink responsibly! Our bartenders will be working tirelessly, so it is encouraged to bring some cash and tip them for their work.

Question

Will there be transportation offered?

Answer

We will be booking shuttle buses to get you safely transported throughout the day to and from your hotel. If you would like to use this shuttle, please indicate this on your RSVP.
