It was the end of Tyler's high school senior year, and she was attending her prom and her friends prom all in the same weekend. April 30th 2016, was the first night of prom shenanigan's going to the East high school prom with her friend. They stayed long enough to dance and socialize for a little, then decided to leave and go to Shari's Café and Pies. Tyler's friend was meeting a date there, and Tyler was being the supportive third wheel. Tyler, Her friend and her friend's date were enjoying some pie, when Joshua entered Shari's with a friend, though they were meeting a different set of friends, they seen her friends date and came over to say hello! They all talked for a little, till Joshua and his friend decided to sit with us instead...the cooler group! We exchanged names and talked for awhile till it was time for Tyler and her friend to leave. Joshua followed her out, when they were standing outside Tyler was wearing a beautiful royal blue gown, but it was also April and there was snow of the ground and the temperature at that time of night was not the most friendly. However, Joshua offered his coat to her while they stood outside while they made more conversation. Later that evening Tyler's friend date asked for Tyler's number to give to Joshua, which then numbers were exchanged and they stayed up a few hours longer talking starting the first few pages of their story. The second night was the next prom night for Central High School, which was Tyler's school. The friend duo made an appearance and hung out for awhile as they did the night before. After a few hours they left and met up with the boys again, and watched a movie. At the end of the night Joshua walked Tyler to her truck, said their goodbyes and before she got into the truck Joshua grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into a kiss. Continuing their first chapter as they got to know each other since that weekend, their next chapter began when they made their relationship official May 28, 2016. 8 Years later, many life chapters in between and plot changes, Tyler and Joshua start one of their biggest chapter yet as they tie the knot September 28, 2024. P.S. It may have all started with a beer and some pie ;)
