We locked eyes in 2016 during homecoming activities on the campus of Southeastern and never spoke a word to each other. Over the years a mutual friend tried to connect us but we didn't cross paths. Fast forward to 3 years later, we ended up in the same bar in downtown Hammond & were instantly drawn to one another. The first words ever spoken were from Jaylen saying, "I am going to marry you" and the rest is history!
