Alyse is Jayde’s younger sister who has been there for every major step in Jayde’s life (arguably too close sometimes). Alyse is now living in the south of France and trying to help with wedding planning from across the Atlantic Ocean. Alyse has always wanted to be there for, and a part of, Jayde’s special moments. In elementary school she even went as far as faking a fever (no clue how), to watch Jayde’s “white house tea” speech as Eleanor Roosevelt. It was worth it. Alyse couldn’t be more excited to play a role in Jayde’s wedding and will probably be seen at the wedding speaking French with anyone who says they know it. À plus en Août!

Laney Evers

Laney is Tyler’s younger sister. While they knew each other at Falmouth high school, Laney re-met Jayde, as Tyler’s girlfriend, at Sugarloaf on a family ski trip. She gives Jayde props for agreeing to a full weekend trip as the first official family hang…bold move! From the start, Jayde felt like family. Laney adores Jayde and adores Jayde and Ty together even more. She is fun, fierce, silly, kind, and so beautiful inside and out. Laney is so excited to welcome Jayde forever into the family 💕 If you see Laney at the wedding, she’ll be heating up the dance floor and singing along to all the songs. She can’t wait to celebrate Jayde and Tyler and couldn’t dream of a more perfect sister-in-law to be!

Katie Pierce

Katie has known Jayde since 2019 and met her while “beating the clock” at Miami University’s Brick Street. Since dating Evan, Jayde’s brother, Katie has spent countless hours with the Bazinet family. Katie has loved to spend time with Jayde chatting about the latest makeup products, Taylor Swift easter eggs, and Sarah J Mass books (to name a few of the many topics they cover). She is so excited and thankful to stand by Jayde’s side on her wedding day. Katie got to know Tyler when the whole Bazinet clan had a boat day in Maine. After hours of jokes, embarrassing dancing, and tubing, Katie knew Tyler could hang. She also thinks that this is where Tyler got to know Jayde’s sequence of signature dance moves. Here’s to hoping it comes out at the wedding! Katie lives in Denver with Evan and works in management consulting. If you see Katie at the wedding she’ll be the third one on the dance floor! Hailey Lister

Hailey and Jayde met in 2020 after Hailey moved to Maine following a harrowing road trip from California. Their friendship started with a love for Shrek and quickly escalated into a heated pickleball rivalry. If they aren't on the pickleball court, you can find them laughing over a beer or comparing their latest Nuuly orders. When Jayde isn't around, Hailey can be found attempting to win over Jayde's elusive dog, Milo (the cutest pup in town) or working on her newly launched AI company (hint, hint look at the photo)! Hailey is very excited to be part of Jayde's special day and can't wait to celebrate with her dear friend. If you see Hailey at the wedding, she’ll be smuggling in Trader Joe’s snacks (or recruiting for an afterparty at Arcadia)!

Jamie Ascanio

Jamie and Jayde have known each other since elementary school and have been best friends since high school. They bonded over being mutually outcasted but it was the best thing that could have happened! They are each other’s biggest fans and that has only grown stronger with time. Jamie is known for her bubbly personality/sense of humor, outrageous laugh, and (occasionally) running on her own time… not on August 24th though!! 👀 Jamie and Jayde have been through so many of life’s big (and small) moments together and Jamie is so excited to be by Jayde’s side on her special day! If you see Jamie at the wedding, she'll be on the dance floor!! (And probably scream singing the songs)

Sydney and Jayde first met at Bonfire Country Bar at a work event in January 2020. Any happy hour involving bacon is a good sign of long lasting friendship, right? It was a friendship that started from work, but grew closer from Covid bachelor nights and Portland adventures! Over the years, they have always prioritized girls nights, finding good beer, and any activity that comes with some friendly competition! Sydney is a born and raised Mainer, and she recently bought a home in Westbrook, Maine!! If you see Sydney at the wedding, she’ll be snapping pics on the Polaroid!

Juli Bazinet

Mother of the Bride

Meet Juli, the mother, and biggest fan, of the bride! She is incredibly proud of her daughter and is excited to welcome Tyler, her future-son-in-law, into the family with wide open arms. When she’s not helping Jayde plan her perfect wedding (ok, ok, Jayde and Tyler did this all on their own), you can find her nannying little ones or being Gigi to Jayde’s little pup, Milo, who has somehow found permanent residency in her home. She met Tyler for the first time as he braved a dinner (aka a roasting) with the relentless Bazinet clan. Tyler was instantly nicknamed “Science Guy” by Jayde’s sister, Alyse, which he will forever and fondly be known. Since then, Tyler has also braved challenging the fam to heated pickleball tournaments with Jayde dominating the courts (and every conversation!). The couple makes a dynamic duo on and off the court. The love for each other is very apparent. They are each other’s cheering committee and yin & yang: Tyler calms Jayde and Jayde challenges Tyler every step of the way. Juli cannot wait to celebrate this special day. You will find her ready for a good time: kicking it up on the dance floor, hooting and hollering and celebrating their love. Steven Bazinet

Father of the Bride

Steve is Jayde’s badass dad. Most of you may know that Jayde is the proud mom of Milo. But what you may not know is that before Milo, there was Weenie, an orphaned Beanie Baby dog Steve brought home to Jayde that she still cares for today (ask her about him). Growing up, Jayde may have seen Steve more as a part-time softball coach, part-time hockey chauffeur, cross-country college tour guide, and last but certainly not least, a novice horse show groomer (nicknamed Buttercup – Steve, not the horse). Jayde and Steve spent much one-on-one father-daughter time together when she was younger; he misses those days. But now she has a new man in her life, and Steve couldn’t be happier for her. Steve didn’t see Tyler coming, but if he had the wisdom to create the perfect guy for his daughter, Tyler would surpass his wildest expectations. As Jayde told Tyler before he met the family: “Our family can be a lot” (just ask Near and Far), but Steve couldn’t be happier for you both and welcomes Tyler to the family. If you see Steve at the wedding, he’ll most likely be playing up his Harley Bad Boy image and cutting it up “Steve Style” on the dance floor.

Ben met Tyler freshman year of college at the University of Rochester and they have been close friends ever since. After college, they still love to get together to listen to music, go white water rafting, and to watch Jayde destroy everyone at ping pong. Ben splits his time between Austin, Texas and airplanes as he travels to dive, ski, and find the perfect nigiri. If you see Ben, he'll be going for seconds and convincing someone to get scuba certified to join him on his next adventure.

Evan is the proud little brother of the bride-to-be and future brother-in-law to the lucky groom. After spending his first 18 years in Maine, he has slowly continued his migration West: starting with college in Ohio, first job in Chicago, and now living full-time in Denver, Colorado with his girlfriend (and fellow bridesmaid) Katie. In his free time, you'll find him in the Rocky Mountains skiing, fishing, hiking or even golfing -- and always up for the adventure to try something new! In fact, a few years ago Evan was learning to ski and Jayde asked if she could tag along for a day, only to find out that she wanted to learn to impress a boy that she liked ... and look where those two are now! Welcome to the family, Tyler -- here's to many more bluebird days in the mountains together! If you see Evan, he'll be doing the hand jive on the dancefloor 🕺 and singing along to every TSwift song that comes on!

David went to college with Tyler at the University of Rochester. Their group of college friends usually has an annual July 4th lake house trip and that's where he met Jayde for the first time. David currently lives in New York City with his wife Chi and their dog, Chopper. If you see David at the wedding, he'll be working his way through the buffet line.

Tyler and Eric first met in college and immediately hit it off. Since then, they’ve made so many memories together- from pledging the same frat, traveling together, and going to music festivals. Fun fact- Tyler and Eric have the same tastes in music; he was even my wingman when Eric met his wife at Ultra Miami! A few years later when Tyler introduced Eric to Jayde, he knew she was a keeper. She always brought a positive energy and she fit right in. Seeing her and Tyler together always put a smile on Eric's face. He has no doubt they’ll have a lifelong journey of love, happiness and health! If you see Eric Chung at the wedding, he’ll be on the dance floor with wine stains on his shirt (his wife spilled it)
