When and where is the wedding and other events?

Answer

All events will take place at Dream Bay Resort in Key Largo, Florida. Everything is in one location, so guests can relax and enjoy the celebration without needing to travel between venues.

Are there any other wedding events?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be kicking off the weekend with welcome drinks Thursday evening, followed by a Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding.

Where should I stay?

Answer

For accommodations, our top choices for guests are Sunset Cove Motel and Bayside Inn Key Largo due to their close proximity to our venue. There are also many great Airbnb options nearby, as well as hotels such as the Courtyard by Marriott Key Largo and Holiday Inn Key Largo for guests who prefer a larger hotel.

How do I get there?

Answer

Dream Bay Resort is about an hour’s drive from Miami International Airport, which offers direct flights from Richmond and Washington, D.C. We recommend renting a car for the easiest travel, but Uber and walking are all convenient options once you arrive in the area.

What should I wear?

Answer

For attire, Thursday night is very casual—feel free to wear whatever you traveled in. For Friday night, we kindly ask guests to wear all white, ivory, or khaki. For the wedding, the dress code is beach formal. Ladies can wear midi or flowy dresses with no shoes or chunky heels since everything will be in the sand. Gentlemen can wear suits without ties, and we encourage bright, beachy, tropical colors.

What is the weather going to be like?

Early November in Key Largo is warm, comfortable, and ideal for outdoor celebrations. Days are typically sunny with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s, while evenings are mild and breezy. It’s a beautiful time of year with less humidity, making it perfect for enjoying the island atmosphere and celebrating with friends and family.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We kindly ask that guests only bring a guest if they are listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding as we keep our guest list intimate.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Our celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of close family children. We love your little ones, but we hope you enjoy a fun, child-free evening with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:30 PM, 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM.

Is there parking available at the venue?

There is very limited parking at the venue so please try to Uber, walk, or carpool if possible!
