FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive at 3:45pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm - if you arrive after the ceremony has started, we ask that you please wait until the wedding processional has finished before taking your seats so that you don't interfere with our photographers.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal or cocktail attire. Since the ceremony and a portion of cocktail hour will be held outdoors, we suggest bringing a warm jacket or wrap to stay cozy in the November chill before the festivities move indoors. The ceremony will also be taking place on grass, so ladies may want to consider block heels or wedges.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep this celebration adult-only with the exception of our ring bearer & flower girl.

Question

Is the ceremony at the same location as the reception?

Answer

Yes! Both will be held at Himelright Lodge. After the ceremony, enjoy cocktails while we take photos nearby.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please silence and put away phones so you can be fully present. We have two wonderful photographers capturing the day... we promise to share the photos later!

Question

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

We are so excited to have Dr. Hibachi catering our wedding! Hibachi will be served buffet style! Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any food allergies!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Don't worry, if it is rainy or extremely cold the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place inside!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will specify whether or not we have reserved a "plus one" seat for you. Due to space, we are keeping our guest list limited to our closest family and friends!
