We met at a party while we were both visiting friends at another university in our sophomore year of college. It just so happened we were two of the only Ohio University students there! From then on, we became friends and saw each other around our campus. Oddly enough, we became next door neighbors our senior year of college, and we started dating about a month into the school year. From there we graduated OU together, moved to Columbus, OH, adopted the worlds cutest and happiest dog (Macie) and bought our first home!

For those who may not know, Emily is from Pittsburgh, PA, with friends and family still there that we visit often. Tyler had been secretly planning a trip for Emily to visit her friends Alex and Mikey in Pittsburgh the weekend of October 1, 2022. The four of us were on our way to lunch, when we took a detour to a scenic spot on the river. Tyler got down on one knee and proposed, but that wasn’t the only surprise! He had also secretly planned for those of our friends from Columbus who could make it to come stay in an Airbnb with us and celebrate. It was truly the best surprise! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in September!
