We’re getting married!

It all started in Geomorphology class at Northwest Missouri State University during Spring 2014. Tyler had just transferred to NWMSU the semester before and Emily was in her third year of being a Bearcat. They had exchanged a few “I like your [insert one of the many nerdy fandoms they found they both loved] shirt” but things changed with the upcoming first exam. See, one of the perks of attending NWMSU is that textbooks are provided free, but Geomorphology had been overbooked, leaving Tyler without a book. Part of each exam entailed writing chapter summaries; everyone had procrastinated leaving Tyler scrambling for a book, so he asked for Emily’s number to arrange a time to meet up and borrow hers. She wasn’t overly helpful as she was one of the procrastinators too, but they kept chatting off and on throughout the semester. Upon arriving back after summer, Tyler asked Emily on a coffee date where they proceeded to talk until the library shut down early that Friday afternoon. He then insisted they go on a “real date” later that week where they (again) stayed until Pagliai’s Pizza closed. Now, after 5 years including several graduations, moves, the adoption of one spoiled cat, and lots of adventures, these two nerdy geologists are getting married!
