FAQs

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

This is a no children wedding celebration. We are allowing kids 12 and up. We apologize for any inconvenience..

Question

How do I know if I can bring a +1?

Answer

We wrote out the invitations to the people invited. We are keeping our guest list small and close people only.. If your SO was not invited, we still suggest they come visit with you if you are an out of town guest. Come enjoy our cute little town of Kenosha!

Question

How soon should I book my hotel/stay?

Answer

Pleasant Prairie has their triathlon weekend the same weekend of our wedding! Please book your stay as soon as possible as hotels are filling up with reservations for that weekend..

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Well it is a backyard wedding and we wanted to keep it casual but formal so we are making the acception for jeans but no ripped jeans please. Most of the area is in grass unless you are on the dance floor so please wear your sneakers (slip on shoes like Roxys, or Vans, Converse whatever) or sandals!

Question

Is there anything I can do to help with the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing alcohol for our special drinks and champagne only so please bring beer, hard seltzers (white claws plz), and any alcohol that are great for shots or mixed drinks! Let me know if you will be participating in this though so we don’t have too much alcohol LOL

Question

When can I have my phone on?

Answer

Phones can be turned on after the ceremony on silent.

Question

Can I take photos of my own?

Answer

ONLY with the disposable cameras that will be at each table. Do not use your phones for photos. We are paying for a professional photographer to take photos through the whole event.

Question

Should I dress according to the colors?

Answer

You definitely can, I am wanting parents, siblings, and grandparents to go with the colors but everyone else can wear whatever! The colors are blush pink (or light pinks), burgundy (or dark reds), ivory, and sunflowers.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

Please try to carpool or Uber as much as possible as parking will be pretty limited. People who will stay til the end of the night can park in our front yard. Otherwise there will be a lot of street parking, please pull as far off the roads as you can because the streets are skinny in our neighborhood.

For all the days along the way
