The phrase "when you know, you just know" about meeting a soulmate is often misused, but not this time. From the day I saw Tyler at the old gym in Fairmount playing basketball, I just knew. My exact words to my dad were "that curly headed boy is gonna be my boyfriend." He chuckled and said something about ducks farting underwater, but I wasn't kidding. Five years later, I got a text after a basketball game from that curly headed boy. From then on, its been the greatest roller coaster of my life. From the first time he told me he loved me (only 21 days after we started dating), to all of our proms together, to our engagement, to our first home, and (most importantly) to the day we were introduced to the center of our universe, Oakleigh Mae McClellan, I wouldn't change a thing. Life doesn't guarantee that all soul connections will turn into the love of your life. In fact, we have fallen out of love a few too many times. But we are certain that no matter what life throws at us, we will always stand strong together. <3
