There are so many things that led to this specific moment in time, but it can all be summed up into just a few words: God had a divine plan that neither of us was aware of, but we are so thankful His timing is PERFECT. To start out, I had always said that I would never online date! Well, they do say to never say never right? I am so glad that I listened to some close friends, prayed about it, and took the plunge. I am forever grateful for that choice. Little did we both know, that we each got very real with God and asked Him and Him alone to send us "The One" that He wanted for each of us to have and cherish forever. The first day that we connected through a popular dating app, I knew there was something different about this one. I couldn't explain it, but let me just say, I am so glad I was right! On that first day, I would learn that Tyler was in the Army and stationed in Hawaii, yes Hawaii! Thousands of miles away from me. At first, I thought that it would be great because it would give us time to really connect, and that was very true. However, that initial "sigh of relief" turned into, "What in the world was I thinking? I want to meet this man now!" Fast forward through 4 and 1/2 months full of FaceTime dates, hours of talking on the phone, countless movies through FaceTime, and even him reading me books...we FINALLY got to meet! I will never forget standing at the top of the escalators with his sister at the Atlanta airport waiting to see him for the first time. I was a ball of nerves, but as soon as I saw him, those nerves melted away and it was like we just knew we belonged together. From the very beginning we both knew that this was special, and here we are today. We re so excited to watch and see how God continues to bless, lead, and direct our lives together We thank each and every person that has made this dream and desire a reality and know we couldn't be where we are without each of you!
