Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invitations will specify if a +1 is included!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Ladies can wear full or mid length dresses and gentlemen can wear a full suit or slacks & a blazer with either a long tie or bow tie. We included examples under the "Attire" tab but if you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The only kids invited to the wedding will be in the wedding. While your kids are important to us, we hope you enjoy a weekend to yourselves at our wedding!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles that will take guests to and from the hotel/other lodging and wedding venue.

Question

How can I get to Lake Oconee?

Answer

For those who live close enough to make it a road trip, there is parking at the hotels and venue! For those who live further away, the closest airport to Lake Oconee is Atlanta. The Atlanta airport is roughly 90 minutes from Lake Oconee and there is a shuttle service that runs to and from both locations. More thorough instructions for how to book that will be provided under the "travel" tab. There are also rental cars at the airport if that is preferred. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at or before 5:15pm! The ceremony will start very soon after. Shuttles will be provided for transportation to help you arrive on time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking at the venue. However for those guests who flew into town or are planning on enjoying drinks at the wedding, there will be shuttles that can take you to and from the venue.
