Well ...We Got Married!

10/30/2020

The year 2020 was not what anyone was expecting. We were planning our dream wedding and just bought our first house. We moved into our home at the peak of Covid-19 lockdown and that was a rough start. Let's not even talk about attempting to plan a dream wedding in the midst of Covid. Our original wedding date was October 30, 2020. We pondered the idea of a small wedding and even pushing the wedding back, but we knew either way we just wanted to be together. We had decided to move the wedding to the following year with hopes of celebrating with our family and friends in a Covid free environment. However, we could not wait to be married and did not want Covid to affect our choice in the matter. We decided to get married at the courthouse with both of our parents present. It was more special than either of us could have imagined and being able to come back to our own home and celebrate with our immediate family was unforgettable. We then began planning for a wedding celebration in April of 2021. As Covid numbers continued to rise, we once again were faced with the hard reality of possibly cancelling our wedding celebration. Our guests safety was the foremost important thing to us, and we decided to turn our wedding celebration into a one year anniversary celebration and vow renewal. With high hopes of Covid being under control, we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

Engagement Shoot

Craig had the most amazing proposal planned and I almost ruined it, however that is a story for another time. Although things did not go according to his plan, it was so perfect (he was even planning a helicopter ride, but it got cancelled due to the weather). You could imagine how stressed he was when he found out. He even pretended to get a work call to make the proper arrangements.
