Most of you already know parts of our story — the one that first began in the heart of Athens, Georgia, at the University of Georgia. Although Tyler and Courtney first crossed paths outside of a freshman dorm, life didn’t bring them together again until the beginning of senior year. What started as a first date on the top of the Georgia Theatre would soon become the beginning of forever. A few days after graduating from college, Courtney moved to Nashville to begin Physician Assistant school. After months of long distance, countless FaceTimes, and many road trips back and forth to see one another, Tyler made the move to Nashville to start their next chapter together. Since then, they have built a life together in a new city, adopted their dog Moose, and navigated many new beginnings together. That excitement reached a new milestone when Tyler proposed. With the help of Courtney’s amazing friends, he convinced her that they were headed to Arrington Vineyards for a friend’s bridal shower. Completely unsuspecting, Courtney arrived ready to celebrate her friend, only to find Tyler waiting there with a proposal she never saw coming. Surrounded by the beautiful Tennessee scenery, she happily said “yes,” and the two spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with family and friends. Today, Courtney has begun her career as a Physician Assistant in Neurology at Vanderbilt, while Tyler works as a Data Analyst for Greenline, a veterinary technology company. Through every season — from college days in Athens, to navigating life in a new city together — they have continued to grow alongside one another and are so excited for what’s ahead. We feel incredibly thankful for the family and friends who have supported, encouraged, and loved us throughout our journey. It means the world to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who have been part of our story from the very beginning, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!
