From Courtney: From Tyler: On 2/16/19 I was complaining to a friend of mine about how terrible it was to be a single minister and at that same moment I received a message from Courtney on Facebook that simply said, "Hey!". We exchanged 42 messages that day and I invited her to my church for service and a lunch date after. After talking to her for about 3 hours, I knew I was in trouble. We had quoted scripture to each other, we had told each other to run and listed many reasons why the other should, and we even made a pact to make our children eat all of the carrots when I would cook beef stew. I was infatuated with this girl that was a complete stranger a few hours prior. Courtney came back to the church for the movie night the same day and she even helped me clean up after the night was over. I knew that I wanted to marry her, that she would be an amazing wife, a great mother, and a fantastic helpmate to me and the ministry.
When you know, you know. In the first two weeks of knowing each other, we spent over 60 hours with each other and took no days off from each other. We are comfortable with each other, we feel unconditionally loved by one another, and there is a spiritual feeling that feels like we are connected to each other.
