Please look through these photos to find inspiration for your attire! You may wear a typical suit for the men if you REALLY want to. For the ladies the dresses shown are just meant to be a bit flowy. Please consider it will be October in northern Maryland and our weather could decide it wants to rain, be hot or be cool. When looking through these photos just take these as a reference! We have 3 primary classes!
Peasant: We could photoshop you out of a wedding photo and drop you into a traditional wedding and you would look right at home.
Merchant: You made an honest attempt, you bought or threw something together to look unique to our wedding!
Royalty: You went out of your way to look exceptional, you probably wore fur of some kind and did braids in your hair. You understood the assignment and were able to commit to it!
Now we do have an unexpected class
Hero: You look straight out of history or a novel, you put in serious work! We will send you a gift a few months after the wedding!!
The Peasant class. You just wanted to show up for the wedding. Men, this is the lowest you can go. You may enjoy bread and cheese at the wedding! (You get the same food. This is a joke)
You tried! Get some boots, pants that look too big, a button down shirt with an oversized belt, and maybe an additional accessory. Congrates! You made it to the Merchant class!
You got a cape (Capes are cool!) a plain shirt or button down, some oversized plain pants and some boots. Merchant class example 2! (Accessories are fun, throw stuff on and see if it feels right!)
Similar to the others but you brought your own mug! It's awesome! Remember, layers make things seem more exciting! Try it out! Merchant class example 3!
Class: Royalty! You did your hair (Beards count guys!) added some fur, slapped on something akin to armor (Super cheap stuff on amazon) and you really nailed a look for YOU! You have our attention!
You... had too much spare money... but you spent it on the right stuff! Unexpected for anyone to go all out but if someone does we will find a way to send you a gift a few months after the wedding!
Ladies, your peasant class is... a dress. Just a dress. If you would see it at a normal wedding, you are peasant class with the suit men! Bread and cheese for your dinner! (You'll get real food)
Merchant class! What's different? A belt of course! Belts are all the rage I hear and adding one immediately upgrades your standing! Maybe add a braid or two, some accessories for fun and your golden!
Royalty! Dress base, vest or corset, vambrace, belt, accessories, braided hair, (You are aloud to wear pants!) You clearly bought some extra stuff just to be extra... and we love it!
Holy disposable income! HERO! You really just wanted an excuse didn't you? Warrior women are welcomed and encouraged! You don't need to wear a dress when you can wear metal or leather armor!
Another heroic example! We see the work you put in and never expected it! You will be justly rewarded a few months after the wedding with a gift from us! Just have fun!
