We met at the dog park in 2019 after we both adopted our first dogs. The boys needed a place to burn off all their puppy energy. Dexter and Brody knew instantly that mom and dad should be friends. Despite Tyler moving to D.C. we stayed friends and went on "dog" trips together. Eventually we realized we (and our dogs) could not stay apart, and after adding lots more animals to the zoo we just had to live together. The dogs are happy they never have to be away from their favorite people.
