Hiking in Shenandoah National Park
Tyler and Brad really enjoy hiking, and there's no place better than Shenandoah National Park. If you have the time, the energy, and the weather allows, portions of Shenandoah are only half an hour away from Airlie.
Skyline Drive
Don't feel like hiking in Shenandoah? Check out the drive and the gorgeous views along Skyline Drive. While the entire Skyline Drive is over a hundred miles long, the drive from the Front Royal Entrance to the Thornton Gap post is 30 miles. Front Royal is 30 minutes from Airlie, and exiting at Thornton Gap will put you about 45 minutes away from Airlie.
