Adventure is waiting...

We met at one of our favorite annual events in Johnson Valley, CA. **Hammertown, USA** King of the Hammers 2018 - Will forever be the best KOH!!! Audry was there photographing the race for a client and Tyler was there working the event for ICON. As the fates would have it, Audry found her way over to the pits to document the end of the race and that's where she first laid eyes (or so she thought) on Tyler. He was filming a burger being flipped on the grill in slow motion with his new camera. She watched him work, she took photos, and eventually Tyler made his way over to offer her a beer. It was there, over photo/video conversation and a Betty IPA that they first started flirting. Shortly after, Audry made a joke about the old guy passed out in the semi, only to find out it was Tyler's dad. Boy, that was awkward... but Tyler laughed and Audry just blushed. After 1st place completed the race, Audry left with her convoy to photograph things back at camp before leaving for the day. Neither of them were brave enough to ask for a number so it was left to fate then. And their mutual friends... On Wednesday of the following week Audry received a text message from a mutual friend asking if it was ok to pass along her number to a certain handsome stranger. It was with ridiculous giggles that Audry quickly approved and held her breath. (It's a good thing Tyler didn't choose to play it cool and wait a few days.) And so #theWestishistory PS. I bet y'all are wondering about the first time Audry laid eyes on Tyler... As it turns out, Audry took his photo not once, but TWICE before they ever met (The classic creeper Photographer that she is) ...
