Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Our hotel block is at the Royal Hotel Edmonton Airport. Please use the link under 'Travel' to receive the hotel block discount. There is limited availability, so book early!

Question

How can I get to the venue?

Answer

We have a shuttle that will pick guests up at the Royal Hotel Edmonton Airport at 1pm. See Travel section) and will drop everyone off at the venue by 2pm. Please let us know when you RSVP if you are planning on taking the shuttle so we can coordinate how many trips it will need to take. The shuttle will also be making a trip at midnight back to the hotel. We will communicate more regarding the pickup and drop off times closer to the wedding date. Other alternatives would be to drive or carpool with other guests. However, please keep in mind that there is a "No Overnight Parking" policy at the venue, so your vehicle will need to be off of the premises by 12:30am.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length or midi-formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit. No jeans please! If you are planning on wearing heels, please keep in mind that the venue is on grass and thin heels may not be ideal. Block heels, wedges or flats would be great alternatives!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue NO later than 15 minutes before the ceremony; you can arrive as early as 1:50pm. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony at 2:30pm, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour to enter.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has a parking lot however, they have a strict 'No Overnight Parking' policy. Because of this, we will be providing a shuttle service to/from the hotel block noted above. If you decide to drive, please make sure your vehicle is off the premises by 12:30am and do not drink and drive.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by August 15th, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

If you were thinking of giving a gift, a gift of cash towards our honeymoon would really make our day! However, if you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way.

What type of bar is there?

Answer

We will have a toonie bar! There is no ATM on site, so please bring cash.

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

All of the bridesmaids will be wearing dark olive green!
