Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Antonia Yuko and Tyler Karpinski
Both hotels are located in the heart of Old City with historical significance at every turn. Take a short walk outside the hotel and just around the block and you will run into Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, even the Betsy Ross house. If a history lesson isn't your thing, below is Tyler and Toni's "ideal Saturday morning" - a weekly tradition they began when they first moved in together and have continued since purchasing their first home together in South Philly.

Kismet Bagels - Rittenhouse Square

1700 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Grab a bagel and coffee at Kismet and head over to find a bench at Rittenhouse Square. Toni's go to: The Spicy (scrambled egg, pickled jalapeno with spicy everything cream cheese on a sesame bagel) Tyler's go to: Everything bagel toasted with regular cream cheese and bacon

Rittenhouse Square

Philadelphia, PA

Find a bench, eat your bagel, see some dogs, enjoy. If you're lucky, the juggler or saxophonist will be performing!

Rittenhouse Farmer's Market

1800 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

The farmer's market is set up around the square on Saturdays from 9am-2pm. The array of Amish flowers is a must see!

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Reading Terminal is Philadelphia's indoor public market with over 70 family-owned, small businesses. Great place to grab a bite to eat or find a quirky souvenir. Where Tyler and Toni go on rainy Saturday mornings. Open 8am to 6pm. Our favorites: - Hershel's East Side Deli: Classic hand-carved deli sandwiches & authentic homemade Jewish specialties. - DiNic's: hot roast beef, pork & meatball sandwiches. - Miller's Twist: Soft, butter-dipped, hand-rolled, Amish-style pretzels, breakfast & lunch pretzel wraps. - Beiler’s Doughnuts and Pickle Patch: Over 50 varieties doughnuts featuring a variety of barrel pickles, & PA Dutch puddings & salads.

Tuna Bar

205 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

If you get in Friday and are looking for a nearby restaurant..... Tyler and Toni's favorite sit-down sushi spot. Great drinks, great atmosphere. This is where Tyler and Toni had dinner after getting engaged at Franklin Square. The Cindy roll is Toni's favorite!
