FAQs

Here are some common questions guests may have. If you have any other questions that were not listed, please feel free to reach out to Angelina or Tyler.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can try to get a head count early as destination weddings take a lot of planning due to the traveling.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We completely understand that work, kids, and life can make destination weddings difficult to attend. Once RSVPs are requested, please RSVP 'no' at your earliest convince so we can plan accordingly. Hope to celebrate with you at home soon!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal beach attire. This is a more casual setting, so no suits or gowns are required. It may be hot so please dress appropriately. For women, this could look like a flowy maxi or midi dress, solid prints or floral/ pastel prints, stylish and comfortable jumpsuits, lightweight and breathable fabric, and wedges or sandals. For men, this could look like semi formal tops such as polos or button down shirt, khaki or dress shorts/pants, and loafers or sandals.

Question

Can I bring a "Plus one"?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside of predetermined plus ones. If your partner is invited, their name will be included on your save the date.

Question

Are my children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love everyone's kids, we have decided to keep our wedding adults-only due to limited space. We hope you are still able to join us!

Question

Is there transportation provided to and from the resort?

Answer

Yes. There is an option when booking your stay to add shuttle service from the airport to the resort and back to the airport when it is time to leave. This is the best way to stay stress free and make sure you get where you need to be efficiently.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. This destination is out of the country and a passport will be required in order to travel. If you have a passport, please make sure it is up to date and will not expire. If you do not have a passport and need to get one, please make sure you do this as soon as possible because it can take serval months before it arrives.

Question

What is the weather like during this time?

Answer

The weather is fantastic. It is during their dry season, which means it will be warm and sunny with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid 70s. There may be an occasional shower, but that is to expected in tropical settings and they never last long.

Question

Should I bring any money along even though everything is included?

Answer

Please make sure to bring some singles for tipping as tips are how these workers make a living and they tend to be more attentive if you show some appreciation. If you do not bring enough or want to wait till you get to the resort to get cash out, there is an ATM machine, but there is a small fee charge when getting money out.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes. We will have a gift registry that will be linked under the "Registry" tab on our website, but your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all and we do not expect anything but your attendance. If you do decide you want to gift us a little something, we ask that you either have it delivered to our address or hand it to us ahead of time. Since it is a destination wedding, we have no space in our luggage to bring anything back with us. Thank you for understanding.

Question

When are payments due?

Answer

Kristi, our travel agent, will be best to contact for all information when you book your stay regarding when payments are due and how much payments are as everyones may look a little different depending on how long you stay and what room you decide on.
