Amore and Tyler’s story began in the fall of 2022 at a church banquet hosted by New Jerusalem COGIC. While attending the event, Amore noticed Tyler from across the room and later asked her friend Mekia, who also happens to be Tyler’s cousin about him. What started as a simple conversation sparked the beginning of a beautiful journey. A few months later, Tyler made the first move and reached out to Amore through her DMs. Their conversations came naturally, and before long, they found themselves looking forward to every call, text, and opportunity to spend time together. Their first date in January 2023 confirmed what they were already beginning to feel a genuine connection that was quickly turning into something special. By August 2023, they officially became a couple, building a relationship grounded in faith, friendship, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Along the way, they have shared countless adventures, traveling together and creating memories they will cherish forever. Through each trip, milestone, and everyday moment, they became each other’s favorite person to call at the end of the day, the one they looked forward to sharing both life’s biggest milestones and everyday moments with. Both Amore and Tyler are passionate about serving their community through their careers. Amore is a licensed Funeral Director at her family’s business, Beach Funeral & Cremation Services, where she compassionately guides families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Tyler proudly serves as a Police Officer with the City of Virginia Beach, dedicating himself to protecting and supporting others. Their shared commitment to service, compassion, and helping people has been one of the many foundations of their relationship. As they prepare to say “I do,” Amore and Tyler are excited to begin their next chapter together. They look forward to building a home, growing together as one, and creating a life rooted in love, faith, and family.
