Tyler and I first connected through our mutual friend, Jaden. We first met in our friend’s car. Tyler and I looked at each other once and didn’t talk for the rest of the night! We were too shy to even look or talk to one another. We started to hang out more with our mutual friends—we still didn't talk much, but glances were shared. Our new hangouts caused our common interests to come out. The silly “arguments” and debates we had grew into something more. We both realized seeing and spending time together made us extremely happy. Our new friendship gradually deepened into a romantic relationship. As our bond grew, I found out Tyler attended church. I never went to church because I didn't understand the point of it. But as I began attending his church, my view on life—through God—became brighter and more hopeful in this world. Our relationship flourished even more through the now-shared faith we have! Jesus changed the way we love each other. He taught us to understand one another, to be patient, to love deeply, and to be more like Him. Jesus has been the cornerstone of our relationship, blessing us with spiritual growth and a deep, meaningful connection. Tyler and I are grateful for the way our faith in God has guided us to this point, for it wasn't just a coincidence that we met! We look forward to celebrating our union with everyone, blessed by God's love and grace!
