And the story goes...

08.31.12

They met in highschool. They knew of eachother but ran in different circles up until Abby’s sophmore summer where their eye’s met on a ride at the county fair. They were sitting across from eachother on opposite ends of the ride in their seperate friend groups. Abby’s friend was hitting her thigh in excitement that “Tyler Booth is checking you out!” That same night Abby messaged Tyler on facebook in a nervous, giddy, teen-angst fueled game of truth or dare. He responded in a few minutes, and soon the two were exchanging phone numbers. He came over to hangout the next night at Abby’s parents house and they hung out everyday after that for about a month before Tyler officially asked Abby to be his girlfriend. They immediately had a connection, and Abby knew right away he was the one for her.

The Proposal

12.6.20

Tyler and Abby were on their way up to cut down a Christmas tree when Tyler had to turn around because he “forgot the saw”, (he did not forget the saw). When they got back to their house Tyler ran inside, grabbed “the saw”, and his little brother Randy to come help get the Christmas tree. As the boys hop into the truck Tyler hands Abby the saw. The gang drove up to the Funk’s tree farm and started hiking. They all three broke off into seperate trails to find the perfect tree. After about 15 to 20 minutes Tyler shouts, “I think I found a good one!” So Abby hikes up to where she sees Tyler and Randy looking at a beautiful, perfect Pine. Tyler asks Abby to hold the tree while he kneels down to clear the under brush. As Abby goes to hand him the saw, he hands her something in return and asks, “Will you marry me?”
