we cannot wait to celebrate with you

When Caroline and Tyler locked eyes over the stainless steel countertops of the Lipscomb University nutrition station, they knew it was love at first sight - just kidding :) But they did hit it off right away and their connection was effortless. But then the unthinkable happened: a global pandemic. While the whole world was shut inside wearing masks and working from home, Tyler and Caroline's love story was just beginning. They connected over their love for nature, being active, and being competitive - especially with each other. It may have taken longer than expected for Tyler to ask Caroline to be his girlfriend, but once he did, the rest was history.

In July of 2022, both Caroline and Tyler had major life changes ahead. Tyler was up for the 2022 MLB Draft and Caroline was accepting a job as a sports dietitian at Clemson University. While long distance was no stranger to these two, it was still scary to imagine being on opposite sides of the country. On draft day, Caroline felt called to step away from the party and spend time in prayer. Tyler joined her and as they were praying, Tyler's agent called with the news that the Houston Astros would be selecting him in the 8th round. It was a direct answer from God. Now, their home base is Clemson, South Carolina during the off-season!
