We got engaged while on our trip to Europe last summer. At the very beginning of June our trip started in the small costal town of Sitges just outside of Barcelona. Our first night we got situated and spent the evening walking along the beach and enjoying cocktails in the bustling side streets. Late morning on our first full day of our trip we planned on going to the beach and swimming in the Med. After walking around and getting some small snacks for breakfast we headed straight for the chairs on the beach. After realizing that the water was freezing cold, we spent most of the day taking turns laying out and wading in the water. Tony had been noticeably nervous and quiet that morning, but I had attributed it to finally relaxing after having our departure city changed and missed connecting flights in London. After a couple of hours, Tony nervously reached into the back pack and pulled out a beautiful ring. This extra little surprised made the rest of our trip absolutely wonderful. From Sitges we went back into Barcelona where we enjoyed more of Spain before heading to Italy. We took multiple flights, trains, and boats to see Venice, Rome, Florence, Naples, and Capri.
Thursday and Friday will be spent in and around the resort at the pool, on the beach, relaxing at the spa, and greeting friends and family. Friday evening will be the welcome party and after will stay at the hotel or possibly head to a local town in Punta Mita. Saturday will be relaxing at the resort and preparing for the wedding while spending as much time as possible with guests. After the wedding we may continue to celebrate in Puerto Vallarta. Please let us know if you are interested in extending your time with us in Mexico.
