The lovely couple first met at their local college bar—and no, it was not love at first sight. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Hadley couldn’t stand the sight of Tyler, and Tyler found that absolutely hilarious. Their first interaction ended in mutual embarrassment and a handful of regrettable comments. Fast forward two months, and fate brought them back to the same place. Apologies were exchanged, a peace treaty was established, and the rest slowly began to unfold. After what felt like a decade (but was really nine months) of talking, dating, and spending nearly every free moment together, Tyler finally asked Hadley to be his girlfriend on top of the Sandia Mountains. She, of course, said yes. They eventually left their beloved college town (after staying for too long) and moved to the small town of Portales, New Mexico, where they knew absolutely no one, ready to start their life together. Nearly a year later, Tyler popped the question at Palo Duro Canyon… inside a cave. And Hadley, of course, said yes again. And that is how we got here.
