Marigold Kitchen
This is where we went for our first date! Needless to say, the rest has been history :) But, if you are looking for a great start to your story of the day, we would definitely recommend this delicious brunch spot.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens
This is where Tyler asked Rachel to be his official girlfriend! We have since enjoyed visiting this location together to see the beautiful blooms and changing life of the seasons.
Comedy on State
For our second date, we laughed together at this hidden gem of Madison! We have since seen some nationally renowned comics come through and have always had a good time.
The Coopers Tavern
One of Tyler's most beloved restaurants! They have an excellent beer selection and, if you are interested in soccer, you can be sure that you would catch the game here. The Cooper's Tavern also has an excellent brunch! Rachel's Maid of Honor, Emily, would also say that you must try their Cinnamon Rolls.
Eno Vino Downtown
This is a high-end, tapas restaurant that Tyler and Rachel went for one of their earlier date nights. It is a beautiful setting with views overlooking the Capitol and downtown Madison. It also has a rooftop bar!
Vitense Golfland
Did you know that Tyler loves adventure parks? This mini golf destination is no exception to that :) Tyler and Rachel enjoyed their third date here. So, if you are looking to let your competitive side out, we would highly suggest this activity. It is important to note though that they also have food, ice cream, a driving range, batting cages, and other family friendly activities.
The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company
There is a hidden biergarten here that is a "summer must-do"! Head on down and grab a pint - they brew their own beer here and you would never even know that you are in the middle of the city!
Brittingham Boats
Looking to get out on one of the four lakes Madison has to offer right in its own backyard? This is the perfect way to do it! While Tyler and Rachel have enjoyed kayaking adventures here together, there are also stand up paddle boards, canoes, and paddle boats.
