Is the resort all inclusive?

Answer

Yes! All food and drinks- including room service- are fully included in your stay. Specialty restaurants, bars, lounges, poolside service, and minibar items are all part of the experience.

When and where is the Welcome Drinks event?

Answer

The Welcome Party takes place on Thursday, 12/11, at the Pool Deck with an open bar from 5-7 PM for all guests. Guests can visit one of the various restaurants in the resort for dinner on their own after the Welcome Party.

When and where does the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM at the Beach Gazebo. All guests are required to arrive by 4:45 PM to ensure a smooth and timely start. Immediately following the Wedding Ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour next door at Central Beach from 5:30-6:30 PM. The Wedding Reception is from 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM at the Mystic area.

Is transportation needed for the wedding events?

Answer

No transportation is necessary if you’re staying on the property. All events are at Secrets and within walking distance from each other.

What’s the weather like in Playa del Carmen in December?

Answer

Typically warm (mid 70s-80s) with a breeze at night. Light layers are recommended for night time.

Can I drink the tap water?

Answer

Tap water is not recommended. Stick to bottled water or filtered water, which is provided everywhere in the resort.

What does “Resort Formal” mean?

Answer

Think elevated, stylish vacation attire. It’s more elevated than beachwear but not as strict as black tie.
