Jake and Tylar first met during their sophomore year at LSU, when a mutual friend paired them up for her sorority semi-formal. Neither of them expected much from a setup — but from the moment they met, they were basically inseparable. They fell in love through humor: Jake’s quick wit, Tylar’s contagious laugh, and their shared ability to make each other smile at all the wrong (and right) times. After graduating and starting new careers in New Orleans, they’ve continued building a life filled with laughter, late night talks and the kind of everyday joy that comes from finding your person. We are deeply grateful for the friends and family who have loved and supported us along the way. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. May 16, 2026 can’t come soon enough!!!!
