John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

A great state park to explore. They have Kayaks, beaches, walking trails, and the glass bottom boat. If you’ve never been to Pennekamp we recommend going at least once!

Great place for drinks and watching the sunset! (Try to see the green flash if you can!)

Shell World

The greatest nautical store ever. A Mullinix family vacation is not complete without visiting here. This was Mikayla’s great grandmother Jan's favorite store to take the kids. We would spend hours wandering around looking at all the amazing shells, shirts, and nautical gifts. Even if you just stop in quickly this is a great spot.

Theatre of the seas

An outdoor aquarium similar to Sea World but a fraction of the size. You can see dolphin and sea lion shows and see some of the native animals of the Florida Keys. Mikayla grew up going here and it is a great place for kids

A bit of a drive but apparently the nicest beaches in the keys. Also you can look at the old railroad bridge originally going to key west.
