Casual tropical best. Collared shirt, shorts, sundress, sandals and flops are perfect!

No, but breakfast is included and drink prices are reasonable.

Can you BYOB to the pool & beach?

You must purchase drinks from the resort. The beach is all public, feel free to pack a cooler for the beach.

Should I rent a car?

Nope. Shuttle is the best way to get to Tamarindo. From there, everything is walkable in the little surf side town.
