Jonathan and Anna actually met in Jonathan's childhood home! Jonathan and his brother Christopher were having a party. When Anna and Jonathan's mutual friend Jake Hirx asked if he could invite some of his friends from high school over, they said yes. Jake decided to play matchmaker; he told Jonathan that Anna kept on making glances at him and told Anna that Jonathan wouldn't stop talking about her. Jonathan called Anna the next day, took her to Mulberry Street in East Islip for their first date, and the rest is history!

Anna's family has been planning trips to their upstate house for over twenty years. Every October, they go to the same pumpkin patch to go pumpkin picking and to take photos. This is a very sentimental place for Anna, and she looks forward to the family trips every year. Jonathan decided this was the perfect opportunity to pop the question. As they posed for a picture, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked Anna to marry him. Now, they look forward to visiting that same place each year after they are officially husband and wife!
