Once you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP by April 1st. If you are staying on property, please also make sure to book your stay by April 1st.
Please refer to the 'Reservation Booking' tab on this website to reserve your spot for the weekend. We have exclusive use of the property for our wedding weekend, and there is room for every guest to stay on property. Please note - when booking a reservation you will not be choosing a cabin, you will be reserving a spot for the respective days you will be staying on property. We will work on assigning cabins once all guests have RSVP'ed.
**We have a very special and discounted rate for the weekend, so please do not reference Migis Lodge's standard rates.** The price to stay at Migis Lodge is $204 per person per night (including tax and gratuity). This price includes all meals and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) Friday & Saturday as well as Sunday breakfast plus the use of the resort's facilities and activities. Payment is due upon check-out. Credit cards are not accepted so please bring a check or cash! Children's rates are as follows: <1 year old - $13/night; 1-5 years old - $26/night; 6-12 years old - $51/night; 13+ is considered an adult
Although we would love to invite everyone's children, due to space capacity, we will only be inviting the children of our close family members. If your children have been invited, that will be noted within your invitation and RSVP link. Please note, while we are so excited to have kids with us to enjoy the weekend, we are asking that the ceremony and reception remain an adult-only event. On-site babysitters will be coordinated with Migis Lodge so that all parents can feel safe that their children are having fun (a few cabins away) while they are too!
In keeping with a very long-standing tradition, Migis Lodge only accepts payments in the form of CASH or CHECK. Sorry, no credit cards! There is an ATM 4 minutes away at the Hill Top Mini Mart in Raymond, Maine. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding!
You'll stay in one of 35 private cabins that range in size from 1-6 bedrooms. The cabins are both rustic and comfortable, and you'll have heating/cooling, fireplaces, private bedrooms and bathrooms, living spaces, daily housekeeping service, flat screen cable TV, wireless internet access and decks with magnificent views of the lake.
No. We will ensure that every guest is comfortable and rooming either alone or with people they know and/or requested to be with. Some larger cabins will accommodate larger families or friends groups, and others will only accommodate one or two couples. We ask that you are flexible on your cabin type and placement, and we can assure you that you will be happy! Please reach out to Lauren or Thomas directly if you have any questions or concerns.
For the majority of the weekend, we hope you're in your best pickle ball outfit or comfy clothes! But for the official wedding events, we'd like to have some fun and get a little fancy! Welcome Dinner Outfit: Dressy-Casual Attire (for example sundresses, jeans and sweaters, button-ups and khakis). The temperature drops at night and the Welcome Dinner will take place outside, so dress accordingly! Lake / Land Activities: Casual (sneakers, sunglasses, t-shirts, swimsuit, sweatshirts, sweatpants, etc.). Maine can get buggy in the spring/summer, so we recommend bringing long sleeves/pants and bug spray (some bug spray will also be available on-site). Wedding Attire: Cocktail - No tuxedos or gowns, but we ask that men wear a suit and tie and ladies wear cocktail dresses of any length. For women, we recommend heels that can handle grass & pathways.
Yes it is! We would love to share this special weekend and place with all of our guests from Friday through Sunday. We of course understand that not everyone can get away for an entire weekend so cabins and check-ins are available on both Friday and Saturday.
Yes! The Welcome Dinner on Friday will take place at the Cookout Point. Saturday breakfast will be served in the Main Lodge, and lunch is at the Cookout Point. Saturday dinner will be served at the Wedding Reception. A farewell Pancake Breakfast will be served at the Cookout Point on Sunday before we say our goodbyes. A map of the property will be provided upon check-in.
If you live in the Tri-State area, we recommend driving as you can easily park on-site and leave your car for the weekend. If you are from out of town or do not want to drive, we recommend flying into Portland International Jetport (PWM). Once you arrive at Migis Lodge on Friday, you will not need to leave until Sunday morning as everything is on-site and included in your stay.
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.
Please arrive to the Petunia Terrace starting at 4:30pm for seating. Wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm.
We have chosen not to register, as our 1-bedroom apartment cannot fit much more! If you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our Honeymoon would be much appreciated.
Please reach out to Lauren (551-497-3472) or Thomas (203-482-8151) or ltwedding2025@gmail.com if you have any questions.
