How we met
Spring Break 2015
We met on Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We both went to Towson University but did not meet until we were away. In that moment we did not know that we were going to meet each other's soulmate. It wasn't until after spring break that Jake decided to ask Lexi to RCB, a formal away weekend with his fraternity brothers from school. That weekend was when we knew that we had something special together. From that weekend on we saw each other every week and the rest was history.
The Proposal

On a cold Saturday in February, we went for a walk on the beach with Rubie, our puppy. That day Lexi kept asking Jake so many questions, "Why are you wearing jeans?" Why are you so jittery?" "Why do we want to go for a walk when it's this cold?" - The list went on. When we walked onto the beach there was the most perfect set up thanks to Nicole, Lexi's sister. Little did Lexi know, Nicole and Jake had been planning this weekend for weeks. That's when Jake asked if Lexi was ready to change her last name, followed by "Will you marry me!?" Lexi screamed, shouted "YES! OMG!," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
