Is there parking on the day?
Answer
Yes - there is loads of parking at the barn. You are welcome to leave your car parked here overnight however, please be aware that all cars will need to be collected by 10am on Monday.

Is there a train station near by?
Answer
If you need to travel by train, the closest station to the barn is Chichester - a short 10 minute drive.
Question
I have a dietary requirement - who should I tell?
Answer
Please let us know when you RSVP online - there is the option to add this note. We absolutely must know in advance so that we can ensure you are provided with a suitable meal. If you forgot to mention it on your RSVP, please let us know ASAP!

What time do I need to be at the venue?
Answer
We would recommend that you arrive at Southend Barns by 1:40pm as Claire will be walking down the aisle at 2:00pm. There is plenty of parking on site!

What time will the party finish?
Answer
The band will be wrapping up at 11:30pm (unless we can convince them into playing an encore!) and all guests must depart the venue by midnight. Cars can be left overnight and collected by 10am on Monday. Please pre-book your taxis!

Is there accommodation at the venue?
Answer
Apart from the bridal suite (which we've already snapped up!), there is no accommodation available at Southend Barns. There are a number of hotels and B&B options in the nearby area which can be found on our "Places to Stay" page!

Will I need to book a taxi?
Answer
Yes! A taxi will need to be booked in advance for transporting you back to your humble abode at the end of the night. The party will finish at midnight!

Are my children invited?

In order to allow all guests, including parents, a day of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion (with the exception of a cheeky niece & 3 nephews of ours!). We hope this advanced notice means that you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the day off!
