Our story began in the most unexpected place—at work. We both worked for the same ambulance company. At first, it was just casual interactions, I would just see him in passing, a smile here, a flirt there. But there was something about him that caught my attention. His charm was undeniable, and I found myself caught up in his playful banter. One day, I finally gave in and took the bait—handing him my number under the guise of "taking a shift together." From that moment on, things began to change. Every Thursday, without fail, he'd surprise me at work with flowers, a simple yet sweet gesture that quickly became something I looked forward to. It was his way of letting me know he was thinking of me, and it always made my day brighter. But the moment that truly changed everything was one evening when I pulled up to his house, and we ended up talking for hours in the car. It was in that conversation—raw, real, and full of laughter—that I realized we had something special. We were no longer just colleagues or friends; we were two people who truly understood each other, and that connection ran deeper than either of us had expected. From that night on, we started spending every day together. We worked side by side, always in each other’s company, and our bond only grew stronger. Soon enough, we made the decision to take on something even bigger—paramedic school. We went through the challenges and triumphs of school together, and every step of the way, we learned more about each other, about love, and about the power of supporting one another. As we stand here today, preparing to take the next step in our journey, I can't help but reflect on how our love story began in the most unexpected way and has grown into something so beautiful. From flirting at work to supporting each other through the ups and downs of life, then creating a beautiful family, every moment has been worth it. And now, as we step into this new chapter, I know that this is only the beginning of a lifetime together.
