Although we love your little ones, the wedding will be an adults only event.
The town is very walkable and if you are staying near, the easiest way to get around is by golf cart. You can rent one in advance or when you get there. There are also taxis if you need to go anywhere outside of the city.
It is definitely recommended that you bring pesos, as most businesses prefer cash and some don't take credit cards. There are lots of ATMs around the town but they do charge a fee so it's best to bring some cash with you if you can.
You should not drink the tap water. Many rental homes and hotels will provide bottled water for guests. The restaurants and bars in Sayulita use purified water for drinking, washing produce, and the ice is made from purified water as well.
Sayulita has small markets, called tiendas, where you can find most basic items. If you are looking for a larger grocery store, we recommend stopping on your way in from the airport.
